The scenography for “The Last Straw” is conceived as an unstable, shifting environment that reflects the inner conflict between conventional and alternative medicine. The stage functions
as a hybrid space — part treatment room, part ritual site — where medical logic and belief-based practices coexist and collide.
Objects associated with healing appear in fragmented, transformable forms: massage tools, needles, mats, vessels, and symbolic “remedies” are arranged as modular elements that can be activated, rearranged, or repurposed. Their ambiguity allows them to function both as practical instruments and as theatrical signs, oscillating between care, hope, and potential harm.
